.45 Caliber Pistol

The .45 caliber pistol is the famous handgun that won the second world war. It was the standard issue hand held weapon to all personnel in the United States Armed Forces during world war 1, world war 2, Korean War and the Vietnam War. This gun was designed by John Browning in 1911 and it paved the way to a whole new generation sustained semi automatic fire.  Contrary to the cowboy guns of the westerners which are pretty hard to fire and reload, .45 caliber pistols are single- action, semi automatic, magazine fed, recoil operated hand guns. Well, they are therefore much more effective in combat. It also offers a relatively powerful knock out power compared to other handguns. Ultimately this is an ideal weapon for self defense and other similar purpose:3
